Katargu

As fantasy art practice, sometimes I will draw either mine or my partner's characters from an mmorpg, and make them look more realistic. This one in particular is one of my partner's characters, a Psychic class from the game Perfect World. She wields her weapon, a magical fiery sphere which floats gracefully above the palm of her hand ready to cast her attacks at will. The lighting in this was certainly a challenge, and it was difficult to balance the focus of the sphere and her eyes. I like the eyes to be a striking feature whenever a subject is looking at the viewer.
